Il Futuro Semplice, like in English, expresses actions that (will) occur in the future.
camminerò          I will walk
mangerò              I will eat
parlerò                I will speak

L’anno prossimo visiteremo Big Ben a Londra.        Next year we will visit Big Ben in London.
Mangeranno l’intera torta.                                              They will eat the entire cake.
Dopodomani telefonerai a tua madre.                       The day after tomorrow you will phone your mother.
Marco leggerà il giornale dopo cena.                         Marco will read the newspaper after dinner.

Nota Bene!

Very often in spoken Italian, when the sense of the future is clear, we use present tense verbs instead of the future tense. Typically, this requires an indicator of time: domani (tomorrow), più tardi (later), il mese prossimo  (next month), fra (within), etc…

Examples:          

Domani parlo con Maria                              Tomorrow I'll speak with Maria
Ti chiamo più tardi                                          I’ll call you later
Andiamo in Italia l’anno prossimo             We'll go to Italy next year.

In the above examples, the time indicators make it clear that the action will happen in the future, even though the verbs are in the present tense.

REGULAR VERBS

Regular verbs are conjugated into Futuro Semplice by following the same steps as when conjugating Presente Indicativo, but we instead add the Simple Future ending as follows:
(Note that regular ~ARE and ~ERE verbs share the same ending pattern.)

Esserci al FUTURO SEMPLICE
You’ll remember the esserci as the verb used to express c’è (there is) and ci sono (there are). This verb follows the conjugation for essere. Therefore, the future tense forms are:

ci sarà [there will be]                     ci saranno [there will be (pl.)]

Ex:         Domani ci sarà una festa in piazza.                                       There will be a party in the piazza tomorrow.
